We are looking to hire a Product Line Coordinator for our Marketing department at our Sugar Land, TX zip code 77478 location.  This is a three month assignment due to the increase in new expansion.  If you are interested and have worked with new product lines in the past, then this might be the opportunity you are looking for.  This is an in office temporary position 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday with a business casual work environment.  Assignment is for three months with a guarantee of 40 hours per week. 

About the Role:

The Marketing Product Line Coordinator plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between product development, marketing strategies, and sales execution within the manufacturing sector. This position is responsible for managing and coordinating all marketing activities related to specific product lines to ensure alignment with company goals and market demands. The coordinator will analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitive landscapes to inform product positioning and promotional efforts. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, sales, and supply chain, the role ensures timely product launches and effective communication of product benefits to target audiences. Ultimately, the Marketing Product Line Coordinator drives product line growth and market share expansion by executing well-planned marketing initiatives and maintaining strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in product marketing or product line coordination, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, product lifecycle management, and market research techniques.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint, and familiarity with marketing automation tools.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with manufacturing processes and supply chain coordination.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing strategies and tools.
  • Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce.
  • Advanced data analysis skills using tools like Tableau or Power BI.
  • Certification in Product Marketing or Project Management (e.g., PMP, PCM).

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up to date catalog of the current product assortment for company wide use
  • Assist in the development and refinement of product specifications and go to market documentation
  • Monitor key milestones and deadlines to ensure product development and sourcing teams remain on schedule
  • Identify and flag items for closeout based on performance data to help sales team align on exit strategies
  • Develop and implement marketing plans and campaigns for assigned product lines in coordination with sales and product management teams.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats, providing actionable insights to guide product positioning.
  • Coordinate product launches, including the creation of marketing collateral, training materials, and promotional events.
  • Monitor product performance metrics and customer feedback to recommend adjustments in marketing strategies or product features.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between marketing, sales, product development, and manufacturing teams to ensure alignment and timely execution of initiatives.
  • Provide logistical support for trade shows and factory visits, including preparing trend reports and development documentation.
  • Partner with marketing teams to ensure packaging, messaging, and promotional materials aligned with the established product strategy
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations on product line performance and marketing effectiveness for senior management.
