Role overview

As a Sales and Account Manager at SiGMA World, you will play a key role in driving growth and revenue by developing strategic partnerships and securing sponsorship and exhibition opportunities within the industry!

Key Responsibilities

Account Management & Client Relationships

• Manage a portfolio of existing clients and partners, acting as their main point of contact before, during, and after events.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and key decision-makers.
• Develop a thorough understanding of clients’ businesses, objectives, and needs, and proactively identify ways SiGMA can support them.
• Maintain regular communication with clients, provide updates, resolve issues, and ensure a consistently high level of service.
• Guide clients through available event, sponsorship, exhibition, and partnership opportunities.
• Support clients throughout the full event cycle, ensuring their requirements are clearly communicated and successfully delivered.
• Monitor client satisfaction, proactively address concerns, and work to strengthen client retention and loyalty.
• Gather client feedback and share insights with internal teams to improve the overall partner experience.

Account Growth & Sales

• Develop existing accounts by identifying upselling, cross-selling, renewal, and repeat participation opportunities.
• Present relevant SiGMA products, events, sponsorship packages, and exhibition opportunities to existing and prospective clients.
• Manage commercial discussions and negotiations with clients, with support from senior team members where required.
• Contribute to individual and team revenue targets through effective account development and client retention.
• Identify and qualify new business opportunities generated through existing relationships, referrals, networking, and events.
• Maintain an active and well-organized pipeline in HubSpot and ensure accurate forecasting and account information.
• Support the onboarding of new clients and ensure a smooth transition from commercial discussions to account management.

Partnerships & Event Support

• Coordinate with Marketing, Operations, Production, and other internal teams to ensure client expectations are aligned with delivery.
• Act as the link between clients and internal teams, ensuring timely communication and resolution of client requirements.
• Provide on-site support to clients during exhibitions, conferences, and other events.
• Represent SiGMA professionally at international events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
• Build relationships with clients and industry stakeholders during events to strengthen existing partnerships and identify new opportunities.

CRM & Account Administration

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client, account, opportunity, and activity information in HubSpot.
• Track account performance, renewals, opportunities, and relevant revenue information.
• Prepare regular account updates and contribute to sales forecasting and reporting.
• Ensure all client interactions and follow-ups are properly documented.
