The Human Resources Coordinator provides a wide range of support and coordination duties for the HR Team at Tennyson Center. Strong attention to detail with little supervision and the ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality is needed to be successful in this role. The Coordinator will be responsible for answering general inquiries and directing questions to the appropriate parties as needed.
Essential Job Functions
Provides administrative support to HR Team
Provides general support and customer service to team members seeking assistance
Compiles, maintains, and audits digital employee files
Supports recruitment process by maintaining job descriptions, posting jobs, and drafting and sending offer letters
Supports onboarding process by conducting background checks, reference checks, and other pre-hire requirements
Reviews HR inbox daily and responds to or redirects emails as appropriate
Completes employment verifications and maintains company org chart
Utilizes HR systems, including HRIS, Timekeeping system, ATS, and LMS
Assists in reporting workers compensation injuries
Assists with longer-term HR projects, including but not limited to open enrollment, engagement surveys, and annual reviews
Other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements
Must be able to successfully complete a pre-hire physical
Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time in an office setting
Proficient use of office equipment including computers, copiers, and telephones
Working Conditions
In person on campus work/school and treatment environment 80% of time
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills that allow successful interaction with all areas of the organization and with external clients
Must be at least 21 years of age
All candidates must have (or qualify to obtain) a current Colorado driver's license
All positions require a pre-employment drug test, FBI fingerprint check, CBI criminal records check, child abuse registry check, motor vehicle record check, academic record verification, and reference checks
