Currently, we are looking for a Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer to join a growing communications technology company helping enterprises and technology providers modernize customer engagement through voice, messaging, WhatsApp, Microsoft Teams, Conversational AI, SIP, and programmable communication solutions.

In this role, you will bridge the gap between technical solutions and customer needs by supporting the sales team throughout the sales cycle. You will design customer-specific solutions, deliver technical demonstrations, lead discovery workshops, and provide expert guidance that helps customers understand the value of Simwood's products and services.

Work setup: Hybrid / Remote
Type: Full-time

Your Duties

As a Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Participating in customer discovery meetings to understand business and technical requirements
  • Designing tailored communications solutions and technical architectures
  • Creating technical proposals and solution recommendations
  • Leading technical workshops and solution design sessions
  • Delivering product demonstrations and supporting proof-of-concept (PoC) projects
  • Presenting Simwood's solutions to technical and business stakeholders
  • Supporting Account Executives throughout the sales cycle with technical expertise
  • Assisting with commercial proposals, technical validation, and customer evaluations
  • Responding to RFPs, RFIs, and technical questionnaires
  • Collaborating with Product and Engineering teams by sharing customer feedback and market insights
  • Supporting strategic partners through technical enablement and joint customer opportunities
  • Maintaining expertise across SIP, Voice, Microsoft Teams, CPaaS, CCaaS, APIs, Conversational AI, WhatsApp, and programmable communications technologies

Requirements


  • 3–5+ years of experience in Pre-Sales, Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Solution Architecture, or Technical Consulting
  • Experience within Telecom, UCaaS, CCaaS, CPaaS, Cloud Communications, Contact Center, SaaS, or related technology industries
  • Strong customer-facing experience supporting enterprise or service provider sales opportunities
  • Experience designing technical solutions and solution architectures
  • Strong technical discovery and requirements-gathering skills
  • Experience delivering product demonstrations and proof-of-concept (PoC) engagements
  • Experience creating technical proposals, architecture documentation, and solution designs
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and business audiences
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of B2B sales processes
  • Fluent English
