The Senior Buyer will develop and implement merchandising and marketing strategies for the Women's Outerwear and Outdoor Apparel category to maximize profitability and brand presence. They will lead cross-functional teams, manage vendor relationships, and collaborate with planning and marketing to optimize product assortments and inventory performance.
Candidates must have post-secondary education in merchandising, business, or economics, along with 5-7 years of progressive experience in category management and procurement. Additionally, 3-5 years of managerial experience and strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills are required.

As a Senior Buyer for our Women's Outerwear and Outdoor Apparel category, you will shape the product stories customers see in our stores and online.
Utilizing your merchandising expertise, financial responsibility, and strong vendor relationships, you will spearhead the creation and implementation of merchandising strategies. In collaboration with the Planning, Marketing, Digital, and in-store teams, you will ensure that the right products are available at the right time, are priced appropriately, and are presented in a manner that embodies the Sporting Life brand.
