We’re seeking a Level 2 CNC Operator to machine high-performance cylinder heads, intakes, valve covers, and transmission pans on 3 and 5-axis Fadal and Haas vertical machining centers, producing components that power serious horsepower.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain the readiness of CNC machines, including indicating axis, etc.
Prioritize individual workflow to operate multiple CNC machines efficiently to hit productivity goals.
Prepare castings for CNC machining including the installation of components.
Deburr, wash, and pressure test parts.
Assist with setups including changing fixtures, tools, measuring tools, and program changes.
Perform all required quality inspections to ensure product meets or exceeds quality standards.
Report labor, productivity, and other KPI’s promptly and accurately.
Follow all established processes and safety procedures.
Monitor inventory of cutting tools and machining supplies.
Perform basic machine troubleshooting
Perform PM’s as scheduled and ensure that all machines are properly maintained.
Assist in development and training of Level 1 CNC Operators and identifying training needs of the team.
Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
High school graduate, Minimum of 5 years machining experience in a production environment.
Must have:
Hands-on operation experience with CNC machining centers.
4 or 5-axis VMC and or HMC experience.
Fanuc Pro 3 or Pro 5 controller experience a plus.
Experience with measuring and gauging equipment.
SHIFT:
3rd shift: Monday - Friday, 1am - 9:30am
