Key Responsibilities
Surface Prep & Environmental Monitoring: Inspect abrasive blasting and measure ambient conditions like temperature, humidity, and dew point.
Coating Application Inspection: Verify wet film thickness (WFT) during application and measure dry film thickness (DFT) using non-destructive tools after curing.
Compliance & Reporting: Ensure work adheres to project specifications, industry standards (AMPP, SSPC, ASTM), and naval requirements (NAVSEA for NBPI); maintain detailed daily quality control logs.
