Soffa Electric is a well-established systems integration firm with over 50 years in the industry. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Drafter to join our team. This role is ideal for someone looking to start their career in electrical design and drafting within a fast-paced systems integration environment. The Drafter will support engineering and production teams by creating, modifying and updating technical drawings, schematics, and documentation using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar platforms for electrical control panels.
EXPERIENCE: Associate degree or technical diploma in Electrical Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related field.
DEGREE: 1+ years of experience in electrical drafting or a similar role.
ABILITIES: Candidate should have experience working in a manufacturing or production environment. Organization skills and strong verbal and written communication are ideal for this role.
WORKING CONDITIONS: This role operates in both an office and shop environment, supporting the design and build of custom electrical control panels.
