Responsibilities
Responsible for pulling finished goods according to pick lists and packaging them securely for shipment. This includes generating shipping labels via computer and utilizing warehouse machinery to move and seal inventory.
Requirements
Candidates must be able to follow directions, read pick lists, and obtain a company forklift certification. Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in non-climate-controlled environments is required.

Tasks
Pulls items/finished goods by part number according to a Pick List issued by management.
Packages precise items on skids or in individual cartons based on customer specifications.
Enters order information accurately into the computer system to generate shipping labels that are affixed to the outgoing product.
Packages items for accurate and timely shipments.
Utilizes the automatic shrink wrapper and/or tape machine to ensure outgoing skids/cartons are sealed/bound properly.
Stocks work area with boxes used for outgoing shipments and assures that the work area is clean and free of obstacles that may present a safety hazard.
Utilizes forklift or hand jack to efficiently move inventory to pull stock and/or stage completed orders.
Submits completed Pick Lists to Shipping Management to ensure shipping orders are scheduled for pick up.

Physical Demands
Employee is regularly required to sit, walk, stand, bend and twist. Visual Acuity (with correction) is needed.
Ability to push, pull, squat and reach while handling projects. Individual must be able to carry/lift loads of up to 50lbs consistently.
Work Environment
Environment is not climate control. Must be able to withstand humid conditions and extreme heat.
Exposure to fumes and airborne particles.
Working around and or near moving mechanical vehicles and machinery.
Qualification
Must be able to follow directions, schedules and know/learn how to read pick lists
Must have or obtain company forklift certification
