The lifeguard is responsible for supervising swimmers to ensure safety and enforcing pool rules of conduct. Additionally, they perform facility maintenance, check safety equipment, and assist with swimming lessons.
Candidates must be at least 16 years old and hold current American Red Cross certifications in Lifeguarding, First Aid, CPR, and AED. Proficiency in swimming and the ability to perform physically demanding rescues are required.
