Responsible for stocking, rotating, and organizing products across various store departments including Produce, Dairy, and Grocery. Provides friendly customer service and maintains the cleanliness of shelves, coolers, and backroom areas.
Candidates must have open availability from Monday to Sunday and be capable of performing heavy physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds. Internal candidates are preferred to have six months to one year of employment with the company in good standing.
Candidates must have open availability (Monday-Sunday: 6am-10pm) and should be willing to work 32-36 hours per week.
DUTIES
Provide friendly and courteous service to customers
Regular, reliable attendance is an essential function of the job.
Stock, straighten and rotate product on shelves in Produce, Dairy, Frozen, Non-Foods., and Grocery Departments.
Process incoming product from our warehouse and direct store delivery vendors
Read and understand shelf tags
Sort damaged product for credit
Operate a hand jack, power lift and cardboard baler
Follow company safety guidelines when using cutters, power lifts, and baler
Maintain cleanliness of shelves, displays, backroom, refrigerated cases, cooler and freezer
Maintain company productivity standards
Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of store management
TRAINING
Training will be provided at store level.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Bending
Stooping
Able to stock 50 cases per hour
Able to work in a cold environment (-10 to 40 degrees)
Able to push loaded two wheeler (average 100-120 pounds)
Able to pull a loaded pallet (up to 700 pounds)
Able to pull loaded stock truck
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Working on feet entire shift (4-8hours)
