Your Impact

As a Working Student in Project Development, you will support our team in developing large-scale, grid-connected BESS projects across Germany – from initial site identification through to permit-readiness.

• Create and maintain GIS analyses (primarily in QGIS): cadastral and parcel evaluations, elevation profiles, grid connection and access route concepts, and site assessments

• Support the preparation and review of project documentation for permitting procedures (e.g. BImSchG applications, grid connection requests)

• Contribute to overviews and status reports for ongoing projects

• Research land availability, ownership structures and relevant planning/regulatory frameworks

• Support project management tasks: tracking deadlines and documents, coordinating with internal teams (permitting, grid connection, legal)

• Prepare and follow up on meetings with stakeholders and authorities

What You Bring

• Currently enrolled student in a relevant field of study (e.g. geography, environmental science, spatial/urban planning, renewable energy, industrial engineering, or similar)

• Hands-on experience with QGIS or comparable GIS software

• Some experience with, or strong interest in, project development or project management, ideally in renewable energy or infrastructure

• Basic understanding of energy-sector and/or planning-law fundamentals (e.g. grid connection, permitting procedures)

• Independent, structured and thorough way of working

• Fluent German and very good English knowledge
