The Director oversees daily operations for the Health and Counseling Center, providing direct patient care while managing clinical leadership and administrative functions. They are responsible for supervising staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, and collaborating with campus partners to support student health and well-being.
Candidates must have at least 10 years of experience as a medical professional and 5 years of supervisory or administrative experience in a healthcare setting. An active, unrestricted license as a Physician or Nurse Practitioner in the State of Oregon is required.
The Director oversees daily operations for the Health and Counseling Center’s (HCC) Medical and Counseling Services. In this dual role, the Director combines direct patient care with administrative and clinical leadership. The Director is also responsible for supervising staff, managing healthcare programs, and ensuring full regulatory compliance. The Director facilitates coordinated care, shared protocols, and aligned service delivery to support a holistic model of student health at the HCC. The Director contributes to HCC strategic planning, maintains a visible campus presence, and collaborates with campus partners to support student health and well-being.
The position reports to the Associate Dean of Students for Health and Well-being, and primarily works on campus, interfacing with students, student families, faculty, and staff.

The starting salary range for this position is $135,000–$145,000. Candidates who hold an active MD or DO medical license and are qualified in family medicine or a comparable medical specialty may be eligible for additional skills-based compensation of up to $10,000. Pay offers are contingent upon experience and are determined through an internal pay assessment. This is an exempt position in grade 12.
