LH Mercantile, LLC is a franchisee of Pet Supplies Plus that currently has 16 locations throughout the Chicago suburbs and Northwest Indiana. We offer self-service pet washes and full-service grooming and provide curbside pickup, delivery, and autoship services. We offer a wide selection of food, supplies and accessories for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, fish and small animals. However, we're mostly proud of our knowledgeable team, who love pets and are eager to help pet parents.

In 1988, Jack Berry and Harry Shallop had a terrific idea. Veterans of the retail and wholesale grocery trade, Jack and Harry decided to bring supermarket-style convenience and value to the pet food and supply industry. Jack and Harry’s new store had all of the nice things that made supermarkets so popular with shoppers. It featured wide aisles with neat well-stocked display shelves, helpful overhead signs, ample parking, convenient hours, a friendly staff and great everyday low prices. Customer’s loved Jack and Harry’s novel retailing concept. Within five years of opening their first Pet Supplies ""Plus"" store in Redford, Michigan, they had 30 locations. Soon, they were joined by a third partner, Harvey Solway, and the business continued to grow. Today, there are over 240 Pet Supplies ""Plus"" stores in 23 states. Pet Supplies ""Plus"" stores are located in convenient, high-traffic areas, often times in existing retail shopping centers where our customers already shop. That can save them an extra trip, and gas money. Our convenient locations and smaller store sizes make it quick and easy for Pet Supplies ""Plus"" customers and their pets to get in, find exactly what they want and get back out on their way.
