Location: New York City or surrounding areas (this role is hybrid 80% remote and 20% in Manhattan office)

Reports to: VP Brand

Role type: Full-time employee

Nice to meet you!

Pepper is an innovative, fast-growing DTC intimate apparel brand designed to celebrate small-chested women. Our iconic solution-driven undergarments, swimwear, clothing are thoughtfully designed to make every moment and outfit a confident and authentic expression of your best self. Pepper has been obsessed with uncompromising fit for small chests since our 470% funded Kickstarter launch 2017, and has since grown into a global community of millions of women united by a mission of inspiring women to feel perfectly enough as they are. We’re reshaping the conversation around fit, style, and confidence for small-chested bodies everywhere.

What we’re proud of:

  • Remote-first, flexible, and human: We’re a fully remote-first team that values ownership, balance, and trust. Pepper is built for people who want to do their best work from wherever they thrive. Without sacrificing connection, collaboration, or career growth.
  • Women-founded & Self-funded: As a women-owned company that never took traditional VC funding, we’ve scaled to eight-figure revenue through focus, profitability, and scrappiness. People come here to help rewrite what success looks like in DTC, and to build alongside a team that loves breaking the “rules” of how startups should grow.
  • Mission-driven with real impact. Everything we do is rooted in empowering small-chested people to feel confident and celebrated. Our mission shapes our products, our culture, and our decisions, from inclusive design to responsible manufacturing and community giving. Joining Pepper means using your work to make the world a little more comfortable, confident, and kind.

This is where you come in.

Pepper is looking for a strategic, creative, and highly organized Senior Manager, Brand & Integrated Marketing to help bring our brand strategy to life across every customer touchpoint.

Reporting to the VP of Brand, this is a highly collaborative role for someone who loves connecting dots across teams, turning big ideas into thoughtful execution, and building the processes that make great marketing possible. Our focus is on bringing our brand to life in ways that inspire customers and drive the business forward.

You'll lead the development and ongoing management of Pepper's integrated marketing calendar, go-to-market strategy, and campaign execution, while partnering closely with cross-functional teams and external agencies to bring marketing plans, product launches, partnerships, and community initiatives to life. You'll be a key connector across the organization, ensuring every initiative feels cohesive, culturally relevant, and unmistakably Pepper.

While this role is primarily remote, some in-person collaboration at our NYC office will be critical to the success of the position.

Responsibilities

1. Integrated Marketing & Brand Management
  • Support the VP of Brand in translating brand strategy into thoughtful marketing campaigns that support both brand and business goals.
  • Lead the development and ongoing management of Pepper's integrated marketing calendar and go-to-market plans, ensuring alignment across product launches, seasonal campaigns, business priorities, and relevant cultural moments.
  • Manage the planning and execution of marketing campaigns across paid, email, organic social, website, influencer, creator, PR, and experiential touchpoints.
  • Develop clear and inspiring creative and marketing briefs that bring teams together around campaign objectives, audience, and key messaging.
  • Champion Pepper's brand standards, ensuring every campaign and customer touchpoint reflects a cohesive, consistent, and differentiated brand experience.
2. Cross-Functional Leadership & Team Enablement
  • Lead cross-functional campaign teams, aligning marketing, creative, growth, product, operations, and external partners to deliver successful launches and integrated marketing initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships across teams, providing clear direction and context, surfacing dependencies, and proactively resolving challenges to keep initiatives moving forward.
  • Provide guidance to cross-functional partners and mentor junior team members, helping elevate marketing execution and build a culture of strong collaboration and accountability.
  • Contribute to the development of the brand marketing function by sharing best practices and helping establish effective ways of working as the team and business grow.
3. Activations, Creators & Partnerships
  • Support the VP of Brand in developing and executing influencer, creator, and affiliate initiatives that build awareness, engagement, and business impact.
  • Plan, manage and execute IRL events, creator experiences, and community activations that deepen customer connection.
  • Identify partnership opportunities and manage the execution and coordination of collaborations.
  • Manage the day-to-day relationships and execution with external partners, including PR, influencer, affiliate, and production agencies.
4. Marketing Operations & Budget Management
  • Own campaign and launch timelines, ensuring internal teams and external partners have clear deliverables, owners, milestones, and deadlines.
  • Oversee the execution of marketing assets, ensuring work is delivered on time and meets Pepper's quality and brand standards.
  • Track and manage marketing spend across assigned initiatives, forecast upcoming needs, and ensure resources are allocated effectively against business and campaign priorities.
  • Continuously improve marketing operations by developing scalable processes, workflows, and tools that enable efficient execution as the business grows.
5. Performance, Insights & Optimization
  • Measure campaign performance and key brand marketing KPIs, delivering thoughtful recaps and actionable recommendations after major launches.
  • Partner with Growth and Analytics teams to understand awareness, engagement, traffic, and conversion trends.
  • Manage the facilitation of customer insights through research, surveys, reviews, and qualitative feedback to inform future campaigns.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize campaign performance, improve marketing processes, and strengthen the overall customer experience.
  • 6–8+ years of experience in brand marketing, integrated marketing, or consumer marketing at a high-growth consumer, fashion, beauty, wellness, or lifestyle brand.
  • Lives in the Tri-State area with the ability to commute into our NYC office 1-2x monthly to collaborate with our brand team in person.
  • Experience translating brand strategy into thoughtful marketing campaigns and managing cross-functional launches and initiatives from planning through execution.
  • Experience working across a mix of marketing channels, with a strong understanding of how paid, owned, earned, social, creator, influencer, affiliate, and experiential marketing can work together to build a brand and drive results.
  • Well-connected to today's creator, influencer, affiliate, and social landscape, with a natural curiosity about culture and an instinct for identifying relevant trends, partnerships, and opportunities for Pepper.
  • Experience managing agencies and other external partners, with the ability to build strong relationships and ensure work is delivered to a high standard.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with exceptional attention to detail—you can balance multiple workstreams, navigate ambiguity, keep stakeholders aligned, and ensure work moves forward on time.
  • A natural collaborator who enjoys connecting the dots across teams, bringing people together, and creating clarity in complex situations.
  • Equal parts strategic thinker and hands-on doer—you can take a big idea, turn it into a clear plan, and roll up your sleeves to make it happen.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience developing creative briefs, communicating campaign strategies, and presenting marketing plans.
  • Highly curious, proactive, and resourceful, with the ability to spot opportunities, solve problems, and make thoughtful recommendations.
  • Collaborative, low ego, and excited to roll up your sleeves to help wherever needed.
  • Passionate about building brands that customers genuinely love—and motivated by seeing that love translate into meaningful business results.
