NIRA, Inc., a rapidly expanding woman-owned small business, is seeking a Senior Oracle ADF/Java Developer to join our team supporting the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). You will work closely with government project managers and engineers to support the FAA's Corporate Work Plan (CWP) and associated ABP-330 systems. Be part of a mission that not only advances technology but also ensures the safety and efficiency of US aviation on a grand scale.

Key responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, enhance, test, and maintain enterprise applications using Oracle ADF and Java/J2EE technologies.
• Develop reusable components, business services, task flows, and user interfaces using Oracle ADF.
• Build robust backend services using Java, Spring, REST APIs, and related enterprise technologies.
• Perform code analysis, debugging, performance tuning, and optimization of Oracle ADF applications.
• Support application modernization and migration efforts to newer Oracle and Java platforms.
• Develop and maintain integrations using Oracle SOA Suite including BPEL Processes, Mediator, Business Rules, Human Workflow, Oracle Service Bus (OSB) (preferred)
• Develop SOAP and REST web services.
• Design and implement integrations using Oracle Consulting's Project Integration Framework (PIF); configure and customize PIF components based on business requirements.
• Troubleshoot integration issues across distributed applications.

Key position requirements:

• Must be a US citizen or a Permanent Resident; ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
• Degree/Experience as outlined below in a specialized discipline, e.g. Business, Computer Science, Project Management, Engineering, Mathematics, Knowledge Management, Instructional Systems Design, Decision Sciences, Information Science or other related science, and intensive experience in the individual's field of study/specialization.
• Must have either Master's degree + 5 years of relevant experience OR Bachelor's degree + 10 years of relevant experience
• Demonstrated experience developing enterprise applications using Oracle ADF and Java/J2EE.
• Strong experience with Oracle SOA Suite and enterprise integrations.
• Strong SQL and PL/SQL development skills.
• Experience implementing and supporting Oracle Consulting's Project Integration Framework (PIF).
• Experience using Splunk for monitoring, troubleshooting, and log analysis.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an Agile environment.
• Exceptional oral and written communication organizational, critical thinking and analysis, meeting facilitation, verbal and written communications, and interpersonal interactions skills

Desired Experiences:

• Direct experience with FAA and ATC system
• Oracle Certified Professional (Java).
• Oracle ADF Developer, Oracle SOA suite certifications preferred

This position is a hybrid role that requires a flexible schedule, with the expectation of working one to two days per week on-site in our Washington, DC office.
