The engineer is responsible for identifying, characterizing, and quantifying radioactive waste throughout the facility's lifecycle while defining appropriate management and disposal strategies. They will collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure waste management requirements are integrated into the design and regulatory documentation.
Candidates must hold an engineering degree or master's in a nuclear-related field and possess at least 5 years of experience in radioactive waste management. Proficiency in regulatory documentation, Andra waste acceptance criteria, and technical English is required.

L’ingénieur expérimenté déchets est chargé d’identifier, de caractériser et de quantifier les déchets générés tout au long du cycle de vie de l’installation. Il définit les filières de gestion adaptées, depuis leur production jusqu’à leur traitement et leur élimination finale, en veillant à l’intégration de ces exigences dès les phases de conception de l’installation.
Il intervient dans un environnement à la fois français et international, en tenant compte des cadres réglementaires et des meilleures pratiques applicables.
L’ingénieur expérimenté déchets évoluera en étroite collaboration avec la Radwaste Discipline. À ce titre, il interagira notamment avec les Work Package Leaders (WPL) responsables de systèmes susceptibles de générer des déchets radioactifs, afin d’anticiper et d’optimiser leur gestion dès la phase de conception.
