COMPENSATION: $43.47 -$47.04 per hour

EFFECTIVE DATE: July 29th, 2026 - August 6th, 2027

INTRODUCTION:

New Path Youth and Family Services is an accredited children's mental health agency providing a range of compassionate, innovative and accessible services for children, youth and their families throughout Simcoe County. New Path respectfully acknowledges we are situated on the traditional land of the Anishinaabeg people which include the Odawa, Ojibwe, and Pottawatomi Nations collectively known as the Three Fires Confederacy.

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

High-quality service and continuous improvement are essential to fulfilling New Path's mission. The Data and Quality Supervisor ensures the integrity of agency data and the production of accurate, consistent reports and quality improvement standards aligned with New Path's Vision, Mission and Values, as well as Ministry Guidelines, Accreditation standards and legislative requirements

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

A. Data Collection, Analyzing and Reporting

  1. Maintain the CQI reporting schedule, ensuring timely delivery of accurate and reliable data.
  2. Collaborate with the Services and Supports team to develop and maintain data collection processes, transforming structured and unstructured data into usable formats.
  3. Develop data visualizations and interactive dashboards to effectively communicate findings to staff and management.
  4. Translate complex analytical results into clear, accessible insights for non-technical audiences.
  5. Research and implement new tools, techniques, and approaches to enhance analytical capacity.
  6. Prepare both summary and detailed analytical reports as required.
  7. Retrieve, analyze, and report from electronic health records systems and other sources to support information requests.
  8. Utilize census data, GIS tools, and other software to produce maps, charts, tables and visual outputs.

B. Program Evaluation

  1. Collaborate with Managers of Clinical Services and Manager of Continuous Quality Improvement to coordinate program evaluation activities.
  2. Support and guide teams in conducting evaluations, including identifying resources, collecting and analyzing data, and preparing reports.
  3. Prepare and present reports to management on evaluation outcomes and the status of evaluation plans.

C. Administrative

  1. Support the integration of AI tools to enhance quality improvement processes and outcomes.
  2. Apply AI-driven analytics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for continuous quality improvement.
  3. Collaborate with quality, clinical, and operational teams to embed AI into CQI frameworks and performance monitoring.
  4. Evaluate AI-supported initiatives and recommend improvements based on data-driven insights.
  5. Promote data integrity and standardization to support accurate, evidence-based decision making.
  6. Ensure AI initiatives align with quality standards, accreditation requirements, and best practices.
  7. Advocate for ethical, transparent, and privacy-concious use of AI in quality management.
  8. Meet regularly with the Manager of CQI and participate in performance reviews.
  9. Identify and participate in approved professional development opportunities.
  10. Provide information and reports to management as required.
  11. Lead or support special projects as assigned.
  12. Participate in agency committees and working groups.
  13. Co-develop and implement CQI policies, procedures, and systems that mitigate risk and support best practices.
  14. Support recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding new staff as required.

D. Leadership

  1. Lead organizational change in accordance with Strategic priorities.
  2. Provide Support to the Manager of CQI, other Supervisors and back up support staff as required.
  3. Provide regular supervision to enhance motivation, commitment and engagement of direct reports to ensure quality outcomes.
  4. Learn, understand and respond to unique needs, values, goals and strengths of team members.
  5. Regularly acknowledge staff and other teams.
  6. Foster and maintain a strong, positive workplace culture where team members feel valued, heard and involved in decision making that directly impacts their role.
  7. Support the growth and professional development of staff through mentoring, coaching and role modeling skills.
  8. Provide supervision to practicum students as requested.

E. Community

  1. Represent the Agency in the community to facilitate collaborative relationships.
  2. Participate in research activities as required.

F. General

  1. Through actions, supports the Mission, Vision, Values and Strategic Plan of New Path.
  2. Reviews and adheres to all Policies and Procedures, including: Administration; Finance; Client Services; Human Resources; Information Systems; and all other.
  3. Adheres to manager responsibilities for Health & Safety as defined by the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OSHA) and applicable regulations.
  4. Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Post-secondary diploma or degree relevant to Data analytics, Analysis or Quality Assurance.
  2. Membership with a Quality Assurance Professional Association.
  3. Minimum of 5 years of advanced data experience, preferably in Social Services or Healthcare Sector with 1 year of leading and developing others.
  4. Knowledge of data management and visualization tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Power BI).
  5. Experience analyzing data and creating user-friendly reports.
  6. Expertise and effective use of database and Microsoft Office systems.
  7. Experience in a unionized environment is an asset.

  11. Interpret data and provide variance analysis.
  12. Maintain professional skills and refine expertise through appropriate educational/developmental activities and professional affiliations.
  13. French Language is an asset.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  1. Ability to work flexible hours including some evenings, weekends and holidays.

  4. Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer.
