POSITION TITLE: IT Governance Sr. Analyst – IT Risk and Compliance

ABOUT THE POSITION

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced IT Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) Analyst to join our team, reporting directly to the IT Governance Sr. Manager. This role is critical in ensuring that our IT operations comply with various regulatory requirements and internal policies, supporting the organization's risk management and compliance initiatives.

As the IT Governance Sr Analyst, you will: 
•    Develop, implement, and maintain IT governance frameworks, risk management processes, and compliance programs.
•    Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as SOX, NIST, NERC, GDPR, and others.
•    Identify and evaluate IT risks, developing mitigation strategies and action plans to address any compliance gaps.
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that IT policies and procedures align with industry best practices and regulatory standards.
•    Prepare detailed reports and presentations on IT risk and compliance status for senior management and the VP Of Information Technology.
•    Provide training and guidance to IT staff on governance, risk, and compliance matters.
•    Stay current with evolving regulations and ensure the organization adapts to new compliance requirements.

Our ideal candidate will have:
•    A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
•    A minimum of 2 years of experience in IT governance, risk management, and compliance roles.
•    In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements such as SOX, NIST, NERC, GDPR, and other relevant frameworks.
•    Strong analytical skills and experience with risk assessment methodologies.
•    Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex compliance issues to non-technical stakeholders.
•    Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
