Mighty Ape is looking for a Creative Lead to lead our creative function and bring together our design, video, and social media capabilities under one creative vision. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, Brand & Communications, you'll lead a talented creative team while setting the creative direction that brings the Mighty Ape brand to life across every customer touchpoint.
This is a people first leadership role combining team leadership with hands on creative direction, brand governance, and campaign delivery. You'll coach and develop the team, ensure consistently high quality creative across graphic design, video content, and social media, and partner with the wider marketing team to deliver impactful campaigns that drive results.
This is a full time, permanent role for someone who can balance strategic thinking with hands on creative leadership and inspire a team to produce outstanding work. Essential

Proven experience leading and developing a team, with the ability to set expectations and hold people accountable with clarity and care.
A strong portfolio demonstrating art direction and graphic design across digital channels.
Solid understanding of content strategy and execution across owned, earned and paid channels.
Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite or Figma and modern design production workflows.
A sharp eye for brand consistency and the confidence to give constructive creative feedback.

Nice to have

Experience in eCommerce or retail marketing, photography or shoot direction, and motion or video content.
Lead, coach, and develop the creative team across graphic design, video content, and social media, managing workloads, running regular 1:1s, and fostering a culture of collaboration, feedback, and continuous growth.
Set the creative direction for campaigns, promotions, and brand initiatives across all channels, providing creative leadership and sign off on design, video, and social content.
Own and evolve Mighty Ape’s visual identity, ensuring brand standards are consistently applied across every customer touchpoint.
Lead the strategy, content planning, and execution of Mighty Ape’s social media presence, using customer insights, performance data, and platform trends to optimise content and engagement.
Oversee the end to end production of creative assets across digital, eDM, paid media, social, in store, and marketplace channels, including product imagery, video content, and campaign creative from concept through to delivery.
Partner with Brand, Content, Promotions, Merchandise, and Performance Marketing teams to deliver integrated campaigns, balancing creative excellence with commercial objectives and realistic delivery timelines.
Champion creative best practice, continuously improving creative processes, workflows, and ways of working to elevate the quality, consistency, and efficiency of Mighty Ape’s creative output.
Build strong relationships across the wider business, using creative expertise to influence decisions and ensure all customer facing experiences align with Mighty Ape’s brand and commercial goals.
