The Service Writer manages the entire work order cycle from generation to invoicing to maximize service department profitability and customer satisfaction. They are responsible for scheduling jobs, selling service labor and parts, and ensuring warranty programs are completed accurately.
Candidates should ideally have over 3 years of experience in service department operations and mechanical knowledge of farm equipment. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong communication skills.
