Job Description
Place and retrieve product from appropriately designated areas via forklift and other material handling equipment throughout facilities to ensure that production and customer needs are met. May involve receipt of incoming material/product and may load and unload trucks.
Prepare the materials for production by identifying which material is needed and mixing materials to job specifications; measure, weigh, mark, label, count, blend, track, calculate shot weight, record, inspect, verify, package and palletize a wide variety of products or materials.
Operate dryers at the correct temperature to prepare raw materials and ensure the correct moisture levels, utilizing the moisture analyzer.
Maintain cleanliness of material handling equipment to prevent material contamination.
Check forklift and other equipment periodically for proper operation and may perform routine maintenance and cleaning.
Responsible for quality of work and appropriately resolve unusual operating conditions. Willingly modifies work schedule and duties to accommodate Company needs. All other duties as assigned.

Ideal Candidate
Typically requires: A High School Diploma or equivalent, read and understand work Instructions, computer experience, independent decision making, and effective self-management.
Minimum Education: Reading and understanding work instructions Preferred Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum Skills/Experience: Effective computer use. Basic Math skills. 6 months of fork truck experience. independent decision-making, and effective self-management. Preferred Skills/Experience: Above plus - 1-year forklift experience in a warehouse setting, strong Computer, and math skills
Functional Requirements
Manually lift and move product and materials up to 55 lbs. through regular physical exertion, including but not limited to reaching forward, reaching overhead, lifting, carrying, crouching, and bending
Power grip and wrist turn, including the use of hand tools and/or steering fork truck
Walk, sit, or stand for up to 10 hours with intermittent breaks
Push/pull up to 100 lbs.
See, inspect, handle, and evaluate product quality
Read and understand written English language work instructions
Work in non-climate controlled environments, including hot and humid conditions
