This is a hands-on role across both the cleanroom (production) and dispensary/warehouse operations, ensuring medicines are prepared accurately, safely, and in full compliance with GPhC and MHRA requirements.

You will play a key role in maintaining quality standards, batch traceability, and inspection readiness at all times.

· Operate compounding equipment according to defined parameters

· Weigh and handle raw materials accurately using calibrated balances

· Follow defined manufacturing processes, including phase-based mixing and API incorporation

· Complete batch records, including recording actual weights and process steps

· Ensure homogeneity and quality of finished products prior to release

Dispensing & Prescription Preparation

· Assist with prescription picking and preparation under pharmacist supervision

· Ensure correct product selection, labelling, and assembly of prescriptions

· Maintain accuracy across batch numbers, expiry dates, and patient-specific details

· Support final checks and handover to pharmacists for clinical verification

Packing & Dispatch

· Pick, pack, and prepare patient orders in line with dispatch schedules

· Ensure packaging is accurate, secure, and compliant with requirements

· Support same-day dispatch targets and courier handovers

· Manage returns and ensure appropriate documentation and handling

Goods-In & Stock Management

· Receive and check deliveries (identity, quantity, batch, expiry/re-test date, condition)

· Store raw materials and packaging correctly, including segregation and quarantine where required

· Maintain stock accuracy, rotation (FEFO), and replenishment

· Support stock counts and inventory control processes

Quality & Compliance

· Complete all documentation accurately (batch records, logs, cleaning records, stock records)

· Follow SOPs, GMP/GDP principles, and internal quality standards at all times

· Maintain cleanroom standards, including cleaning and environmental controls

· Identify and escalate deviations, errors, or quality concerns immediately

· Support inspection readiness and audit requirements

Team & Operations

· Work closely with Pharmacists, Production, and Operations teams

· Support a high-performance, quality-focused culture

· Contribute to continuous improvement in processes and workflows

Essential

· Fluent English (spoken and written)

· High attention to detail and accuracy (weights, batch numbers, labelling)

· Experience in pharmacy, healthcare, manufacturing, laboratory or warehouse operations

· Ability to follow structured SOPs and processes precisely

· Basic IT skills (email, spreadsheets, internal systems)

· Strong organisation, reliability, and timekeeping

· Comfortable working across both cleanroom and warehouse environments

Desirable

· Previous experience in pharmacy compounding or production (non-sterile)

· Previous experience working in laboratories incorporating GLP into daily work

· Experience working in GMP, GDP, or regulated environments

· Familiarity with batch documentation and traceability requirements

· Interest in dermatology, personalised medicine, or pharmaceutical manufacturing
