Role: GST Sales Engineer – Commercial & Retail (Fire Alarm Systems)
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Position Summary
The GST Sales Engineer is responsible for driving business growth and achieving sales targets within the Commercial and Retail sectors across Saudi Arabia. Based in Riyadh, the role focuses on developing new business opportunities, identifying and acquiring new customer accounts, expanding partner and distributor networks, managing key customer relationships, and promoting the company's Fire Alarm Systems and Life Safety Solutions. The successful candidate will combine technical expertise with strong commercial skills and a solid understanding of Fire Alarm Systems to identify customer needs, develop tailored solutions, and deliver sustainable revenue growth.
Sales & Business Development
Achieve assigned sales targets and business objectives.
Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities within the commercial and retail sectors.
Identify and acquire new customer accounts to expand market presence and drive revenue growth.
Identify, recruit, and develop new channel partners and distributors to strengthen market coverage across Saudi Arabia.
Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through proactive customer engagement and business development activities.
Conduct customer meetings, technical presentations, and site visits to promote GST products and solutions.
Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation through project award and order closure.
Develop and execute account plans to maximize growth opportunities.
Work closely with consultants, contractors, developers, end users, and facility management companies to generate business opportunities.
Customer, Partner & Account Management
Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, consultants, contractors, developers, distributors, and end users.
Manage and grow existing customer, partner, and distributor accounts.
Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within existing accounts.
Conduct regular business reviews with key customers and channel partners.
Ensure high levels of customer and partner satisfaction through effective communication and support.
Coordinate with internal teams to resolve commercial, operational, and technical matters.
Partner & Distributor Development
Identify, recruit, onboard, and support new channel partners and distributors aligned with company growth objectives.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with partners and distributors to drive sustainable business growth.
Conduct regular performance reviews with partners and distributors and develop improvement plans where required.
Deliver product, technical, and sales training programs for partners and distributors.
Support partners through joint customer visits, presentations, product demonstrations, and business development activities.
Ensure partners are fully trained on GST products, Fire Alarm Systems, life safety solutions, value propositions, and competitive advantages.
Provide ongoing coaching to partner sales teams on opportunity identification, qualification, and opportunity management.
Collaborate with marketing teams to support partner-led campaigns, events, and lead-generation initiatives.
Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and brand guidelines.
Technical & Commercial Support
Identify, recruit, onboard, and support new channel partners and distributors aligned with company growth objectives.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with partners and distributors to drive sustainable business growth.
Conduct regular performance reviews with partners and distributors and develop improvement plans where required.
Deliver product, technical, and sales training programs for partners and distributors.
Support partners through joint customer visits, presentations, product demonstrations, and business development activities.
Collaborate with marketing teams to support partner-led campaigns, events, and lead-generation initiatives.

Sales Management & Reporting
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, opportunities, quotations, and forecasts within the Salesforce system.
Ensure all sales activities and opportunities are updated regularly and accurately in Salesforce.
Monitor pipeline development and sales performance against assigned targets.
Prepare weekly activity reports, monthly forecasts, and business reviews.
Utilize Salesforce dashboards and analytics to support business planning and decision-making.
Ensure compliance with company sales processes and reporting requirements.
Market Intelligence
Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and industry developments.
Identify new market segments, business opportunities, and growth initiatives.
Gather customer and partner feedback and provide market insights to management.
Support the development of sales strategies based on market intelligence and customer requirements.
Qualifications
5–7 years of sales experience in Saudi Arabia.
Proven experience within the Commercial and Retail sectors.
Strong track record in business development, customer acquisition, and account management.
Hands-on experience in Fire Alarm Systems, Life Safety Solutions, or Low Current Systems is required.
Good understanding of fire detection technologies, fire alarm systems, project specifications, and relevant industry standards.
Experience working with consultants, contractors, developers, distributors, and corporate customers.
Experience in channel partner and distributor development is highly desirable.
Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
