The coordinator manages the preventative maintenance program for owned and leased properties, acting as the primary contact for service calls and trade contractors. Responsibilities include dispatching service tickets, managing contractor insurance and compliance, and maintaining detailed facility maintenance logs.
Candidates need at least 4 years of experience in general facility maintenance and a post-secondary education in a relevant field. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a basic understanding of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems are required.
The Property Maintenance Coordinator schedules and coordinates the preventative maintenance program for all the company’s owned and leased properties. The Property Maintenance Coordinator works closely with Kal Tire store managers, trade contractors, and others who are involved in the repairs and maintenance process. This person is the main point of contact and first response for preventative maintenance work and service calls.
