About the Role

We are looking for an SEO manager who is passionate about the future of search and understands how brands can improve visibility across both traditional search engines and AI-powered answer engines.

The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in SEO, along with hands-on experience or a good understanding of AI SEO and Answer Engine Optimisation. This role will focus on improving organic rankings while increasing IIDE’s visibility across traditional and AI-led search platforms

You will work closely with the content, growth, and technical teams to drive SEO and AI SEO initiatives. Technical implementation, including schema deployment and development changes, will be handled by the technical team.

What You’ll Do

Search & AI Visibility

• Build and execute SEO strategies to improve IIDE’s visibility across Google Search, AI Overviews/ Mode, ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and other AI-powered search platforms.
  

• Go beyond keywords and focus on topics, entities, content clusters, internal linking, and trust signals to help search engines and AI platforms understand IIDE better.
  

• Run competitor checks, prompt testing, and AI visibility checks to see where IIDE is showing up and where improvements are needed.
  

Technical & On-Page SEO

• Conduct technical SEO audits and recommend improvements for site structure, crawlability, page speed, mobile experience, schema markup, internal linking, and indexation.
  

• Improve on-page SEO across key pages by optimising meta tags, headings, FAQs, internal links, schema, and content structure.
  

• Work with the technical team to get important SEO fixes implemented correctly.
  

• Identify SEO issues that may be affecting rankings, traffic, user experience, or conversions.
  

Content, Authority & Off-Page SEO

• Work with the content team to create SEO-led/ AI first blogs, landing pages, comparison pages, FAQs, and topic clusters.
  

• Create clear content briefs based on search intent, competitor research, user questions, and business priorities.
  

• Improve existing content so that it ranks better, answers user questions clearly, and supports conversions.
  

• Build IIDE’s authority through relevant backlinks, Reddit/Quora optimisation, brand mentions, digital PR, and high-quality third-party citations.
  

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

• Track organic conversions, traffic, keyword rankings, impressions, CTR, conversions, AI citations, brand mentions, and competitor visibility.
  

• Create simple reports that explain what is working, what is not working, and what needs to be done next.
  

• Turn SEO data into clear action points for the content, growth, and technical teams.
  

Requirements

Must Have

• 4 to 5 years of hands-on SEO experience.
  

• Strong understanding of on-page SEO, technical SEO, keyword research, search intent, internal linking, schema, and SEO reporting.
  

• Experience handling tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog or similar.
  

• Ability to create SEO briefs and guide content improvements with strong comand on english. 
  

• Great understanding of how AI-led search platforms like Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, and Microsoft Copilot are changing search behaviour.
  

• Strong team and task management skills.
  

• Ability to read data and convert it into simple next steps.
  

Good to Have

• Experience in education or content-heavy websites.
  

• Experience working with website migration projects and CMS platforms such as Strapi or similar tools. 
  

• Experience managing SEO team members or working closely with content teams.
  

• Understanding of how content, PR, brand authority, and SEO work together to improve search visibility.
