The Maintenance Technician performs skilled maintenance across electrical, plumbing, welding, and fabrication systems to ensure reliable facility and equipment operations. Candidates must possess hands-on mechanical ability and proficiency in various maintenance trades, with a valid driver's license required. Higher-level roles require experience with PLCs, CNCs, and the ability to interpret complex engineering drawings.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Maintenance Technician supports reliable facility and equipment operations by performing skilled maintenance across electrical, plumbing, welding, fabrication, carpentry, and general repair work. This role conducts preventive maintenance, troubleshoots and repairs machinery, assists with equipment moves and installations, and performs building and structural repairs. The technician completes required safety inspections, operates forklifts and scissor lifts, and handles additional maintenance duties as assigned. A valid driver’s license is required.
Electrical, plumbing, welding, fabrication, and carpentry
Some work is performed on the production floor, which can be noisy and dusty, as well as hot during the summer. Some work will be performed outside, and climate will depend on season. Some work will be performed in a climate-controlled office. Proper personal protective equipment is provided by STC when necessary.
Work will be performed from a standing position. Work will require a large amount of walking. Work will include pushing, pulling, bending, lifting, and carrying large/awkward objects. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and push carts loaded with up to 200 lbs.
