Responsible for assisting the Bakery Department Manager to present the freshest most innovative and best quality products at a competitive retail price to customers. High school or equivalent experience and over one year up to three years of similar or related experience.
This position has daily exposure to noise, temperature extremes, dampness, vibrations, equipment movement hazards and dangerous chemicals/solvents. There is weekly exposure to dirt and occasional exposure to electrical shock. This is a fast paced work environment with significant pressure
Mixers, register, proof box, ovens, sheeter, rounder, pan washer, fryer, label machine, shrink wrap machine, RPM system, computer, and copy cake machine.
Responsible for equipment in the department and customer accounts
Has daily contact with customers, suppliers/vendors, and the general public. Has occasional contact with federal/state governmental or regulatory agencies for inspections.
Has access to confidential information including ads, gross profit percentage, wages, sales, pricing, and employee information.
