About the Role

We're looking for an Office Operations Specialist II to join our team! This role plays a key role in creating an efficient, organized, and welcoming workplace for employees and visitors at Hamilton Beach. This position supports the day-to-day operations of our corporate office by managing shipping and receiving, mail services, workplace logistics, inventory, facilities support, and office services. The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, and enjoys solving problems while ensuring business operations run smoothly. 

This is an in-office position and is based in our Corporate Headquarters in Glen Allen, Va. This role will report to the Supervisor, Office Services.

Salary Range: $36,540.00 To $44,370 Annually

What You’ll Do

• Manage all inbound and outbound shipping, receiving, mail, and package distribution for the corporate office.
• Coordinate domestic and international shipments, including customs documentation, carrier scheduling, and shipment tracking.
• Maintain inventory of office supplies, shipping materials, and workplace resources to ensure business continuity.
• Support office moves, workspace reconfigurations, furniture assembly, and general workplace logistics.
• Perform light facilities maintenance and coordinate with vendors and building management on repairs and building services.
• Assist with employee badge administration, building access, keys, and workplace security systems.
• Support recycling initiatives and workplace sustainability programs.
• Partner with internal teams to respond to office service requests while delivering exceptional customer service.
• Identify opportunities to improve workplace processes, shipping efficiency, and operational effectiveness.
• Promote a safe, clean, and organized work environment while following company safety practices.

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Experience in office operations, shipping and receiving, facilities, warehouse, logistics, mailroom, or workplace services.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with domestic and international shipping or customs documentation is a plus.
