We proudly serve the Greater Brownsville Area and El Paso under our Grocery Services South, LLC branch. We’re looking for a motivated, customer-focused Store Clerk to join our team at our NEW Port Arthur location. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact while contributing to our mission of helping those who need it most. It all begins with you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inventory Management: Order merchandise from our warehouse or suppliers based on inventory levels and customer demand. Check product levels, expiration dates, and rotate stock. Occasionally conduct physical inventories.
• Customer Assistance: Provide exceptional customer service at the checkout counter, assisting customers with their product selections and processing payments via cash, SNAP, or WIC cards.
• Stocking & Merchandising: Unpack, stock, and organize shelves, racks, and bins with new merchandise to ensure a well-stocked and visually appealing store.
• Store Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness by routinely cleaning counters, shelves, floors, and bathrooms to ensure a safe and welcoming shopping environment.
• Team Support: Assist the store manager and other team members with any other duties or tasks needed to ensure the smooth operation of the store.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous retail or store clerk experience is a plus
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish (preferred)
• Detail-oriented and committed to maintaining a high level of accuracy
• Team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to take initiative
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while providing outstanding customer service
