The Team Lead – Product is accountable for establishing a high-performance product execution system that ensures delivery teams can rapidly scale, continuously optimise, and seamlessly integrate across global platforms. The role focuses on driving operational efficiency, leveraging data insights, and enabling speed to market for product improvements that support GDT’s growth and market adoption strategy.
As a commercially accountable leader, the role integrates product operations, customer insight systems, experimentation capability and product performance measurement to ensure the product team can rapidly learn from market signals and continuously improve product outcomes.
The role operates as a key member of the Product Team, contributing to operational alignment, prioritisation discipline and cross-functional integration across Product, Technology, Marketing and Commercial teams.
The role is accountable for ensuring product execution systems enable consistent, scalable and future-ready product performance. This is achieved through system design, governance, prioritisation and direct operational execution.

Product Operations System & Delivery Rhythm
Accountable for the design, stewardship and evolution of the product operations system that governs how product teams plan, execute and review work. Establish clear operating rhythms including planning cycles, delivery cadences, product reviews and governance forums. Ensure product teams operate with consistent execution discipline while maintaining flexibility to respond to market signals.
Product Metrics & Analytics Systems
Accountable for establishing and maintaining product performance measurement systems that provide clear visibility into product outcomes. Define product metrics frameworks, dashboards and reporting standards that allow teams to monitor adoption, engagement, performance and value creation. Ensure product decisions are supported by reliable and accessible performance data.
Customer Insights & Operational Data
Accountable for the systems that capture and translate customer and usage data into actionable insights for product teams. Ensure behavioural data, user feedback and operational signals are systematically collected, analysed and surfaced to inform product prioritisation and improvement opportunities.
Experimentation & A/B Testing Capability
Accountable for establishing experimentation frameworks that enable product teams to test hypotheses and validate product improvements. Implement structured A/B testing practices, experimentation governance and learning loops that enable rapid iteration and evidence-based decision-making.
Product Governance & Execution Discipline
Ensure product initiatives operate within clear governance frameworks including prioritisation protocols, decision rights and performance monitoring. Establish transparency around product progress and ensure leadership has visibility into delivery status, risks and performance outcomes.
Product Enablement & Capability Development
Support product teams with the tools, processes and operational guidance required to execute effectively. Ensure teams have access to the systems, data and operational practices required to deliver products efficiently and continuously improve performance.
Acquisition & Engagement System Optimisation
Ensure product systems support the efficient onboarding, engagement, and retention of sellers and buyers. Streamline product adoption processes and optimise workflows to ensure GDT scales quickly and integrates seamlessly with the platform’s growth engines. This involves refining onboarding UX/UI, simplifying processes for users, and ensuring operational scalability to accommodate high-volume engagement.
Data-Driven Product Optimisation
Leverage operational data and insights to optimise product performance, influence the development of data-driven features, and support GDT’s journey toward data monetisation. Develop frameworks that measure the performance of data products, monitor user behaviour, and continuously optimise product offerings to maximise the value generated from GDT’s data.
Platform Scalability & Integration
Ensure product systems are aligned with the architecture and vision for the next-generation platform. Work closely with the Product and Technology teams to integrate scalable and flexible product systems that enable GDT to expand quickly and efficiently while maintaining a seamless user experience across platforms.
Cross-Functional Product System Integration
Ensure product execution systems integrate effectively with Technology, Marketing, Sales, and Commercial operations. Establish collaboration mechanisms with Technology, Marketing, Sales, and Customer teams to ensure product priorities are clearly understood and operationally supported. Minimise organisational friction and ensure product systems operate as a coherent enterprise capability.
Product Team Membership

- Experience leading product operations, product analytics or product enablement systems
