The Coach provides motivation, guidance, and on-site support for runners and walkers of all levels during community training programs. Responsibilities include managing session logistics, offering tips on form and pacing, and fostering an inclusive community atmosphere.
Candidates should have a passion for running and fitness with a friendly, approachable personality. No formal coaching certification or prior experience is required, but reliability and comfort working with groups are essential.

Are you passionate about running and love helping others achieve their goals? As a Coach at Fleet Feet, you’ll be the heartbeat of our community training programs providing encouragement, motivation, and on-site support for runners and walkers of all levels. Reporting to the Training Program Lead, you’ll guide participants through training sessions, promote safety, and help create a fun, inclusive atmosphere where everyone feels welcome.
This role is perfect for outgoing, fitness-minded individuals who want to give back to the running community and be part of something meaningful. No formal coaching certification required!

Support and encourage participants at scheduled training sessions.
Assist with day-of logistics such as warm-ups, cool-downs, hydration stations, and safety protocols.
Provide basic tips and guidance on topics like pacing, form, and recovery.
Collaborate with the Training Program Lead to ensure smooth and enjoyable sessions.
Foster a sense of community, inclusion, and camaraderie among participants.
Be a visible and positive ambassador for Fleet Feet at all training events.
A passion for running, walking, fitness, and building community.
Friendly, approachable, and enthusiastic personality.
Comfort working with groups and individuals in a coaching/support role.
Reliable and punctual with a consistent presence at training sessions.
No prior coaching experience necessary—just a love for movement and a desire to help others succeed.
