Design and deliver mixed-signal PCBAs for the Antenna Control Unit of a next-generation phased array antenna. This includes managing the full hardware lifecycle from schematic capture and layout to vendor coordination and board-level validation.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or a related field with strong proficiency in Altium and high-speed data transfer hardware. Candidates must have experience in power management circuitry and familiarity with contract manufacturing processes.

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to make an immediate impact on the design of the Antenna Control Unit (ACU) for a next-generation phased array antenna for satellite communications. As an Electrical Engineer at Farcast, you will be responsible for delivering mixed-signal PCBAs supporting the antenna system. This includes power‑electronics design, digital‑interface implementation (I²C, SPI, Ethernet, UART), component selection, schematic capture, PCB layout, and board‑level testing and validation. In this role, you will work closely with a multi-disciplinary engineering team to understand design trade-offs, propose and implement novel solutions, and support the transition to production. Ideal candidates will have demonstrated ownership of the full life cycle of mixed-signal PCBAs, including design, schematic capture, layout, component procurement, and interfacing with contract manufacturers and fab/assembly houses for board production.
