Role: YouTube Channel Manager**

Working Days: Monday – Saturday
About the Role
We are looking for a YouTube Channel Manager who understands content growth, audience behavior, and platform optimization on YouTube.
This role sits at the intersection of YouTube content strategy, channel management, and audience growth. The ideal candidate should be capable of managing and optimizing a YouTube channel end-to-end, identifying growth opportunities, and scaling Famyo’s presence through data-backed creative execution.
The role requires someone who can combine execution with strategic thinking and drive long-term channel growth, engagement, and retention.
Key Responsibilities
Channel & Content Management
● Manage and publish content on YouTube channel
● Optimize video metadata including titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails, and playlists
● Maintain content upload calendar and ensure publishing consistency
● Coordinate with design, content, and production teams for timely video delivery
Audience Growth & Engagement
● Drive YouTube subscriber growth and audience retention
● Identify trending topics, audience interests, and content opportunities
● Improve watch time, CTR, engagement, and community interaction
● Monitor audience behavior and suggest improvements for growth
Content Strategy
● Ideate video formats, hooks, storytelling angles, and series concepts
● Collaborate on brand storytelling and IP-led YouTube content
● Support experimentation with new formats (shorts, long-form, series, etc.)
Performance & Analytics
● Track YouTube performance metrics (views, watch time, CTR, retention, subscribers)
● Analyze audience insights and content performance trends
● Generate reports and actionable recommendations
● Continuously optimize content strategy based on data
Research & Trend Tracking
● Stay updated on YouTube trends, algorithm updates, and audience behavior
● Study competitor channels and category content strategies
● Bring fresh content ideas and growth opportunities
Requirements
● 1–3 years of experience in YouTube channel management, content strategy, digital marketing, or audience growth
● Strong understanding of YouTube algorithm, SEO, and content performance metrics
● Familiarity with metadata optimization (titles, tags, thumbnails, descriptions)
● Analytical mindset with ability to interpret YouTube analytics
● Strong communication and coordination skills
● Ability to manage multiple content workflows efficiently
● Self-driven, organized, and proactive
Good to Have (Brownie Points)
● Experience working with D2C or content-led brands
● Understanding of kids/family/entertainment content ecosystem
● Exposure to Shorts growth strategy and viral content formats
● Familiarity with YouTube analytics tools and SEO tools
● Interest in kids, parenting, entertainment, or lifestyle content
