The Development & Engagement Coordinator supports fundraising efforts by managing donor stewardship, relationship tracking, and engagement touchpoints. They also provide operational support for events, donor data management, and internal fundraising reporting.
Candidates must have at least 3 years of professional experience in development or a related field with familiarity in fundraising workflows. Strong written communication skills, organizational abilities, and experience with email marketing platforms are required.
This is a nonprofit development position at an accredited higher education institution. Reporting to the Associate Director of Development, the Development & Engagement Coordinator supports Erikson's fundraising work across the full donor cycle -- from initial outreach and cultivation through stewardship and ongoing engagement. This is a hands-on generalist role that touches many parts of the development operation: helping donors feel connected to Erikson's mission, keeping fundraising activities running smoothly, and supporting the team across events, communications, and day-to-day relationship management. The coordinator will play a key role in supporting the annual fundraiser, Inspire Circle cultivation events, and donor stewardship activities. The role is a good fit for someone who is organized, people-oriented, comfortable with details, and eager to learn the full arc of nonprofit fundraising
