The company delivers a broad suite of technologies including wind, solar, hydro, biomass, battery energy storage, flexible power systems, and low‑carbon mobility solutions.

In South Africa, EDF power solutions (Pty) Ltd has been operating since 2009 with offices in Cape Town, Gqeberha, and Johannesburg, and is undergoing rapid growth. The business currently manages four operational wind farms totalling 142 MW and is constructing 1.5 GW of wind, solar and BESS projects across 11 sites. It also leads major hydropower developments in Madagascar, Malawi, and Mozambique, with ambitions to deliver 5 GW of renewable projects in the region by 2030.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Digital Solutions Graduate to join our IT team in Cape Town (Hybrid). This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands‑on experience supporting the organisation’s digital ecosystem.

You will work closely with the Digital Solutions Lead and broader IT team, gaining exposure to enterprise‑level tools and real‑world project delivery across Power Platform development, SharePoint administration, and IT support. This role is designed as a strong foundation for a career in digital solutions within a fast‑growing renewable energy environment.

Key Responsibilities

Power Platform Development & Support

  • Assist in building and maintaining Power Apps solutions to support business workflows.
  • Support development of Power Automate flows for process automation.
  • Assist with maintaining and updating Power BI dashboards and reports.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT), identify bugs, and support solution improvements.
  • Maintain clear and accurate technical documentation.

SharePoint Administration & Access Management

  • Support the maintenance of SharePoint Online environments (sites, libraries, permissions).
  • Assist with user access provisioning and de‑provisioning.
  • Support access reviews and permission audits for compliance.
  • Assist with SharePoint data migrations and EDMS structure maintenance.
  • Support onboarding, offboarding, and training of users on SharePoint tools.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with IT and business teams to understand requirements.
  • Gather user feedback and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Participate in team discussions and contribute to digital transformation initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft 365 tools (SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, OneDrive).
  • Foundational knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
  • Understanding of basic IT support principles and troubleshooting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred

  • Microsoft certifications (e.g. PL‑900, MS‑900, AZ‑900, SC‑900).
  • Exposure to SharePoint administration or Power Platform tools through coursework, internships, or personal projects.
  • 0–2 years’ experience (graduate or entry‑level).

  • Ability to follow and contribute to technical documentation.
  • Interest in enterprise systems, data management, and digital solutions.
