About project:

We are looking for an Accounting Treasury Specialist for our French client, who specializes in producing various types of glasses and collaborating with opticians. Their mission is to enhance the quality of life by improving the quality of vision.

Responsibilities:

• As Accounting Treasury Specialist you will be you will be initiating payment runs with appropriate promptness and accuracy to ensure that financial obligations are met on time;

• You will be ensuring timely application of credit notes and prepayments or advances to maintain accurate vendor and employee balances;

• You will be seeking approvals for payment batches from business units, adjusting the batches as needed, and uploading them to the correct bank accounts;

• You will be coordinating closely with business units to align on cash requirements, payment schedules, and bank-related arrangements;

• You will be working collaboratively with the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Set-up, and General Ledger teams to resolve treasury-related concerns on a daily basis;

• You will be resolving payment-related issues by liaising with business units, banks, and the IT team to prevent processing delays;

• You will be preparing a check monitoring schedule and coordinating with BU Finance or the bank to confirm the status of unreleased checks;

• You will be ensuring that all scheduled payment runs are finalized prior to month-end closing;

• You will be initiating data cleansing activities for supplier and employee records, particularly focusing on bank account accuracy;

• You will be updating man-hours based on actual time spent on each process to support operational efficiency tracking;

• You will be supporting project implementations by providing process insights, sharing relevant data, and conducting user acceptance testing UAT;

• You will be assisting in audit processes by gathering and organizing the documentation requested by auditors.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in accounts payable or treasury, ensuring a strong foundation in payment processing and financial controls;

• Work in a hybrid set up (3 days onsite in Alabang, Muntinlupa and 2 days WFH) – Necessary condition;

• Proven experience with ERP systems, with preference for familiarity with MFG Pro or Oracle, to effectively navigate and execute payment processes;

• Practical experience in dealing with various banks and a basic understanding of banking products and services relevant to treasury operations;

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Google applications, enabling accurate handling of payment data, reconciliation, and reporting tasks;

• Strong analytical skills to assess payment issues and identify appropriate resolutions with minimal supervision;

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for collaborating across departments and resolving vendor or internal concerns.
