We are looking for:
A Medical Report Reviewer to join our Dynamic team. In this role, you will be a part of the Quality Assurance department, where you will review Independent Medical Evaluation reports, to ensure quality and compliance with legislative requirements and client Service Level Agreements.
You will:
- Verify report content with medical documentation on file to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Conduct a thorough quality review for spelling, grammar, formatting
- Liaise with assessors to address questions and clarifications for their reports, and provide feedback, as required
- Liaise between multi-assessors and ensure consensus for cases requiring multidisciplinary reports
- Address and respond to assessor queries and/or correspondence in a professional and timely manner; effectively resolve any issues
- Support assessors, as required, to ensure timely delivery of their reports
The ideal candidate will have:
- An ability to articulate your thoughts clearly and professionally, in a verbal and written context
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Resilience and the ability to adapt to fluid demands
- An ability to “think on your feet” and use your critical thinking skills to problem solve, and make decisions that are best for the team
- A University Degree in a health-related field, Kinesiology, Occupational Therapy, or Psychology preferred
- Solid PC skills with proficient use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Experience with SmartSimple, eClaims Workflow, and Expeflow is an asset but not required
- Knowledge of or experience working within disciplines such as Orthopaedics, Sports Medicine, Psychiatry, and Neuropsychology is considered an asset
- Bilingual - French an asset
