Join Our Team as an Apprentice Electrician!
Position Overview:
We are seeking motivated and dependable First-Year Electrical Apprentices to join our growing team in New Mexico and Texas. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start a rewarding career in the electrical trade while gaining hands-on experience working alongside licensed electricians on commercial, industrial, and energy-related projects.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Assist journeyman and master electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
Safely use and maintain hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
Pull wire, install conduit, terminate electrical devices, and assist with equipment installation.
Follow project plans, drawings, and supervisor instructions.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Adhere to all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
Travel to project sites as required.
What You Bring to the Team:
Enrolled in or willing to enroll in a registered electrical apprenticeship program.
Basic knowledge of common hand tools and their safe use.
Basic computer skills, including email, electronic timesheets, and mobile applications.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Ability to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders, and perform physically demanding tasks.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
Work Schedule:
Primarily Monday through Friday, 10-hour workdays.
Some projects may require extended rotations of up to 21 consecutive workdays.
Occasional overtime, weekends, and out-of-town travel may be required based on project needs.
