The Fleet Service Coordinator supports the Director of Fleet Maintenance with administrative tasks and coordinates breakdown and repair responses for drivers. They are responsible for executing preventative maintenance policies and monitoring fleet efficiency using Fleetmatics.
A high school diploma is required, while a bachelor's degree in logistics and 2+ years of fleet management experience are preferred. Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Office and possess strong communication and data entry skills.
The Fleet Service Coordinator provides support to the Director of Fleet Maintenance in the execution of his or her duties and assists in daily administrative tasks for the department. The Fleet Service Coordinator will also provide support to drivers who have breakdowns or develop other maintenance issues while en route, primarily during standard business hours and after normal business hours, as needed. The Fleet Service Coordinator will assist in ensuring drivers and equipment are safe and DOT compliance standards are met.
