Design and develop scalable data models and visualizations to power internal analysis and reporting. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into performant analytical datasets.
Requires 4+ years of experience in data science, data engineering, or analytics engineering with strong SQL proficiency. Experience with the modern data stack, specifically dbt and cloud platforms like BigQuery or Databricks, is strongly preferred.

The Calm Health Data Team focuses on helping drive business outcomes across Calm Health. The business problem comes first (what are we trying to solve?), and the analysis follows (how do we best solve this problem?). Sometimes the solution is straightforward and sometimes it is highly complex—we always rely on data to drive our solutions.
As an Analytics Engineer you will design and develop scalable data models that power our data products serving internal analysis, experimentation and reporting across our entire business. You will collaborate with key stakeholders across our product, engineering, operations and data science teams to understand our various data sources and translate this knowledge into performant analytical data models as well as visualizations that answer questions or tell the narrative as posed by the business.
Calm uses a geographic pay model that determines salaries based on the location where an employee lives. For this position, the anticipated salary range for this position is $147,000 - $225,000. The base pay range represents the low and high end of Calm’s salary range for this position. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. Exact salary will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which include the successful candidate's geographic location, skills, experience and other qualifications. Calm uses employee zip code to determine which pay range applies. This role is also eligible for equity + comprehensive benefits + 401k + flexible time off.
