The Sales Associate is responsible for delivering an excellent customer experience by providing expert advice on kitchen products and maintaining store standards. They will also manage stock replenishment, process purchases, and build lasting relationships with customers.
Candidates should have a genuine passion for cooking and food, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. While previous retail experience is considered an advantage, it is not strictly required.

About the RoleBorough Kitchen is looking for an outgoing and friendly part-time Sales Associate with a genuine passion for food and cooking to join our store. The ideal candidate will enjoy sharing their knowledge and delivering second-to-none advice and customer service.
What you’ll be doingPlease note: Weekend and bank holiday availability is required. December is our busiest trading month, so we ask our team to plan annual leave outside of December wherever possible.

Our passion is around finding the best tools for the job from around the globe, with a focus on quality, functionality and durability. We tightly edit the range to offer the Best of the Best and, where there is a high-quality value alternative, the Best of Value. We are known for rigorously testing and selecting the best products in each category. We opened our first shop at Borough Market in September 2013 and our second shop in Hampstead in May 2015. We launched our first Cook School in Hampstead in October 2015 and then relaunched our online store boroughkitchen.com in November 2015. In April 2016 we opened a Chiswick shop and Cook School in London, W4. Our flagship store in Islington Square opened in October 2020 and features our most comprehensive range of products and our largest, most central Cook School. All three of our Cook Schools are powered by Gaggenau's top-of-the-range kitchen equipment. We cater to the urban at-home chef to provide everything that's needed for entertaining, from the kitchen to the table. It's about a shared passion for cooking and eating together - whether having friends around for a Friday night supper or family around for a Sunday roast.
