Responsible for operating deburring machinery and handling materials while adhering to safety and quality standards. Duties include setting up air-operated tools, performing equipment inspections, and maintaining a clean production environment.
Requires a high school diploma or GED and a basic understanding of shop safety practices. Candidates must be able to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 100 pounds with assistance and operating industrial machinery.
Under close supervision, is responsible for operation of deburring machinery and material handling. Must meet Bobrick standards of safety, product quality, productivity and policies. The individual needs to constantly upgrade their job skills in keeping with changing technology.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Monday to Friday: 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.
Overtime as required.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and must learn the basic principles of self-balancing flow manufacturing. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Self-Balancing Flow manufacturing knowledge or experience an asset. Good knowledge of shop and safety practices is essential.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Must be able to communicate orally and in writing, giving clear and concise messages.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers of common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
