The Customer Care Representative serves as a primary point of contact for sales and their customers and plays a key role in supporting order processing, responding to inquiries, and resolving service issues. This position ensures accurate communication between customers and internal teams while maintaining high service levels and supporting overall customer satisfaction.
QualificationsKEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Serve as a primary contact for customer inquiries through phone, email, and internal systems.
• Process customer orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with Production, Planning, Shipping, and Quality teams to support order fulfillment and delivery.
• Communicate order status, lead times, and shipment updates to customers.
• Address and resolve customer concerns, discrepancies, or service issues in a professional and timely manner.
• Maintain accurate customer records, order documentation, and correspondence.
• Support customer-specific requirements including labeling, documentation, and delivery instructions.
• Assist with customer returns, claims, and corrective action follow-up when required.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Support the organization in achieving established service and performance goals.
• Contribute to departmental metrics related to customer satisfaction, responsiveness, on time performance and service quality.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
• High School diploma or equivalent required, Associate’s degree or higher preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in customer service, order entry, or administrative support preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or B2B customer service environments is a plus
SKILLS and/or PHSYICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Technical proficiency in MS Office, ERP Systems, CRM Systems, Databases (Netsuite, PowerBI +)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• This is not a remote role, while there is flexibility in office presence is required
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining collaboration with internal teams.
• This role is primarily based in an office environment.
