Responsible for operating, repairing, and providing preventative maintenance for the golf course irrigation system. This includes conducting audits of sprinkler heads, managing pump stations, and performing winterization tasks.
Requires a high school diploma and a valid driver's license, with a preference for a turf degree or Rainbird certification. Candidates must have technical knowledge of low voltage electrical systems and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Big Cedar is looking for a full-time Irrigation Technician to work on our Paynes Valley Golf Course. Qualified candidates will work in a team environment and be highly focused on providing superior service. This position is a key member of the Golf Course Agronomy Team and will be responsible for operating, adjusting, repairing and providing preventative maintenance to all aspects of a golf course irrigation system.
