The PCS Software Engineer maintains and develops software systems to control and monitor manufacturing processes. They collaborate with a team of engineers to ensure the operation of production machinery is efficient, safe, and high-quality.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Science in a relevant engineering or computer science field and possess 1-3 years of experience. Proficiency in automation, PLCs, and web development technologies is required, along with legal authorization to work in the United States.
The PCS Software Engineer is responsible for maintaining and developing software systems utilized to control and monitor Arconic’s manufacturing process. These software systems oversee the operation of our production machinery and are integral to production, quality, and safety. This Software Engineer reports though the Senior PCS Engineer and collaborates with a core group of Engineers throughout the plant.
The Software Engineer will primarily work Monday through Friday during daytime hours and support off-shifts as needed for your respective projects or designated areas.
