Ansell is looking for an Associate Specialist Planning to join our team in Ansell Lanka, Biyagama
GENERAL SUMMARY OF THE POSITION
Checking material (Liners) availability for placed orders and forecast requirements, and communicating the requirements and material required dates with relevant suppliers. Generating and leading the procurement team on liner purchase orders in advance. Making sure that materials (Liners) are available for the production lines well in advance and communicating any risks to the production in advance. Maintaining a low liner inventory at Ansell Lanka. Taking initial steps to make and lead any changes in liners to update ERP requirements.

What your role will be?
· To support the Senior Planning Manager in managing the total production plan in IGBU.
· To support the Senior Planning Manager in managing the total production plan in HGBU (Cut Resistant liners)
· To take responsibility for managing all the operations planning responsibilities.
· To create and circulate the Liner requirement monthly to ATL and to the Lanka planning/operations team.
· To coordinate with the ATL team on the Liner receive plan.
· To communicate with the ATL team on the additional demand on liners, and to communicate with the Lanka operations team on the liner availability and the production run, well prior to the shortage
· Drive towards the maximum PTP from all IGBU / HGBU.
· Create visibility and forecast the possible PTP failures and plan to minimize the shortages.
· Create visibility on the Line WIP situation and plan to avoid unnecessary WIP build up.
· Coordinate with the purchasing team on any RM / PM material shortage arising, well before the shortage.
· Any other duties assigned by the Planning Manager or any other person acting on his behalf.
What will you bring to Ansell?
Education
· Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Statistics, Logistics, Operations Management, or Diploma in Supply Chain Management or a related field or any other equivalent qualification
Job Experience
· Preferred 1-2 years of experience in planning, logistics, supply chain management, or production management or Fresh Graduates also welcome to apply
· Proven experience in managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with departments such as Production, Warehouse, Quality Assurance, and Shipping.
· Experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
· Experience in managing customer KPIs such as STP, OTIF, SBO, and OAT
