Provide primary medical support to Licensed Veterinary Technicians by assisting with animal restraint, handling, and basic medical tasks. Maintain patient records, perform diagnostic imaging, and ensure the cleanliness and organization of the ER/ICU department.
Candidates must be able to lift 40 pounds and handle high-stress environments while performing physical tasks like bending and crouching. Experience in veterinary assistance and the ability to communicate effectively with clients is required.

Our Veterinary Assistants are the Licensed Veterinary Technician’s primary medical support and works with the LVT to complete all tasks required by the veterinarian. The Veterinary Assistant directly assists their team with animal restraint and handling, basic medical tasks, and client interactions.
