The ideal candidate is an energetic individual, a team player, and can provide services necessary for the efficient operation of Ameraflex. This is an In-Person position located in Deer Park, Texas, with operating hours of M-F, 8AM-5PM. This position will report directly to the Operations Manager.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
General shop work, cleaning and sweeping
Material handling; Receiving and Distribution duties
Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
Organization of press tooling and components
Operate different press and flash cut machines
Operate powered industrial vehicles (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.) in a safe manner
Assist in other areas where needed in the shop
ESSENTIAL SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous warehouse experience in receiving & distribution required
Resume must include history of receiving & distribution duties to be considered for this position
Ability to stand, sit and/or constantly move for extended periods of time
Ability to lift a least 50 lbs., sometimes more
Ability to read a tape measure
Must be able to communicate orally and in writing
Must be able to follow written and oral directions
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Must be dependable and consistent in attendance
Must have dependable transportation
Must have a good work ethic and a positive attitude
Ability to work with other personnel effectively and respond to questions from managers
