About
My professional experience at the intersection of business strategy and public policy made me discover the potential for design thinking, open innovation and startup methods, as well as networked business/policy models for firms/non-state actors and policy-makers alike to drive strategic renewal, social progress, and innovative public policy more holistically. Having continuously worked across different industries and at the intersection of innovation, technology, and society, I believe that many of the world's roadblocks originate in differences in perception and priorities, lack of awareness for the former, and related ignorance for greater inclusivity and ambitious visions. This is why I have acquired significant expertise in design methods and practices and practical mechanisms such as co-creation, policy sandboxing, agile governance or design for policy. I both practice and research, in my PhD, experimental and design-based innovation, both for the public and private sector. Working with the ones who use and deploy the services that we try to create is what I love to do, from enabling Design Thinking-based revisions of strategies or corporate culture to developing user-centered business or policy models, services and products. Skills I already bring and aim at developing further are the co-application of the qualitative mechanisms of design (thinking) with methods such as foresight, behavioral insight, or evidence-based policy-making; equally so design and branding grounded in user research/UX. - Apart from this, I am a yoga teacher (for kids) and generally always up for new professional challenges, working with dynamic teams and, preferably, at global scale.
